3. Maintenance
3.1 Cleaning
It is recommended to clean the KEMPER autoflow XP
®
blower respirator system after every use.
Also check all blower respirator system components for damage.
• Clean the blower respirator system outside or in well-ventilated rooms.
• If needed, wipe the outside of the blower unit clean with a cloth.
• Be aware that clinging dust can be harmful to health.
• Do not use flammable cleaning agents.
• Ensure that no cleaning agents get into the blower unit or the air hose.
• Replace the air hose if you suspect that the inside of it is contaminated.
• It is recommended to use cleaning agents without abrasives.
• Clean each part with a damp cloth and properly dry it afterwards. No moisture is permitted in
the battery and blower unit. It can cause malfunctions and defects.
• For hygienic reasons, the protective screen should be regularly disinfected, particularly on
the inside. Use a commercial disinfectant and clean the components in accordance with
the instructions for the disinfectant. Ensure that no disinfectant gets into the blower unit and
the battery.
• Also observe the guidelines in the operating instructions for the welding protection cap
that came with the product.
