6. cleaning and maintenance
• Keep the plug away from the mains!
• Before cleaning the device: leave to cool after use!
• Only pour out the water after it has cooled down in order to
avoid scalding!
• Never put the device in water, as it can be damaged!
• The inner bowl, removable inner lid, steamer function and cake
tin are dishwasher-proof!
• Dry parts thoroughly before using them again!
• Do not use scourers or aggressive liquids such as benzene or
acetone to clean the device!
clEANING tHE SAFEtY DEVIcES:
As well as the seal, the safety devices must also be cleaned after every use.
SAFEtY VENt:
To take out the safety vent, it must be pulled up, so that the spring-assi
-
sted back up pressure relief can be released.
Wash the vent with a mild washing-up liquid and warm water.
After cleaning, check that the spring-assisted back up pressure relief can
move freely. Put the safety vent back on the opening.
The pressure cooker does not require much maintenance. It does include
any parts which need waiting for. Please do not attempt to repair the device
yourself. contact customer service for advice from qualified professionals.
clEANING:
Unplug the power cable from the socket after use.
Wait until the device has completely cooled down before cleaning.
The pressure cooker must be thoroughly cleaned after each use in order
to avoid staining through food build-up or cooking residue.
