Kelvin SMU diagnostic test flow
The following gives a quick description of the flow for SMU diagnostic testing (see next Figure):
1. The loop number is configured on Diag_SMU GUI. It determines the total number of times the
selected diagnostic tests will be run.
2. The communication test must run successfully before the SMU voltage and current tests run.

SMU communication Test
The following is an example of the communication test flow for the SMU diagnostic tests (see next
Figure):
1. The communication test will run three (3) times. The test passes if ALL three runs have passed.
2. After sending the *IDN? command, the response is read.
3. The tests will pass if the correct response is received three times.
