After your test selections are made, click the Save icon. If you want to run the SMU tests, select the
Diag_SMU PTM in the project tree and click the Run icon on the ACS toolbar to start the test. All of
the selected SMU diagnostic tests will now execute.
Matrix diagnostic testing
In the Test Setup panel, click the
Diag_Matrix
PTM. The Setup tab of the Diag_Matrix GUI opens by
default (see next Figure).
The Setup tab contains the following:
INSTRUMENTS:
Shows the matrix and matrix cards configured for the system.
SELECT ALL:
Allows you to select all of the switch cards and mainframes. You can also manually
select the individual switch cards.
CLEAR ALL:
Deselects all of the switch cards.
SELECT ITEM:
Choose the individual matrix diagnostic tests you want to run. There are four:
communication, short, continuity, and leakage.
LOOP:
The number entered is the number of times the selected set of tests will be repeated when
Diag_Matrix is executed. The tests can be repeated once to 99 times.
