High production facilities should be checked more often.

repairs.

THERMOSTAT CALIBRATION

A. Limited Calibration (less than 10°C off)

You will need:

One standard fl at blade screwdriver

One accurate surface thermometer

1. Set thermostat to desired temperature (150°C
recommended).

2. Allow thermostat to cycle three times.

3. Locate “V” on front of griddle plate

(See Figure

3) above thermostat to be calibrated to locate ther-
mostat bulb position. Place thermometer on plate
over bulb half way toward rear of griddle.

4. If calibration of thermostat is found to be less
than 10°C off, simply loosen three dial plate retaining
screws, rotate dial plate to match thermometer read-
ing and tighten screws. If it is more than 10°C off,
use the following calibration procedures.

NOTE:

If thermostat is not maintaining an accurate

temperature, check bulb position. See fi gure 8 on
page 10 - THERMOSTAT BULB POSITIONING.

DO NOT ADJUST THE THERMOSTAT SET SCREW -
IT VOIDS ANY WARRANTY ON PART.

GRIDDLE SURFACE

With proper care, the MIRACLEAN® surface and its
unique cooking properties will last for many years.
However, dents or closely spaced nicks in the griddle
surface may cause the MIRACLEAN® surface to raise
where it could be torn when a spatula or scraper is
used. Care should be taken, as the damage done is
irreparable. See

page 7.

CLEANING

Proper care should be taken to fully clean the griddle on
a regular basis.

DISCONNECT ELECTRIC

                           POWER SOURCE BEFORE
                           CLEANING.

                             A. CONTROL PANEL -

Clean any grease build-up on

                                 switches and thermostat knobs.

NOTE:

If grease gets into the body of a switch or ther-

mostat, it may cause it to fail.

B. CABINET -

The front, back and sides of the cabinet

should be kept clean for sanitary reasons.
