7.2 Using the STERIclave B after servicing
To ensure that the STERIclave B works properly after it is serviced, the following
steps must be performed to restart it:
▶ Connect the device to the mains, and fill the water tank with demineralised water.
▶ Turn on the device with the main switch on the back.
The date and time are shown on the display.

▶ Hold down button 1, and press the Power button.
"SET Altitude" flashes in the display.
▶ Use the 1 and 2 buttons to set the altitude at which the unit is operated rounded
to the nearest 100 meters. (You can find the elevation of the city for example at
www.wikipedia.de – Munich, for example: According to Wikipedia 519 m above
sea level, the value to set is (the rounded value of) 600 meter)
▶ Press the Set button.
The device runs an initial installation for a few seconds.
The device is ready to use after installation is over.
