FROM FILE determines which channel plan the datalogger will process
It can be a standard SAT channel plan, a manual memory
plan or an auto-memory plan. Using the auto memory, the
datalogger can also process terrestrial plans indirectly. For
example, the
EUROPE channel plan contains the generic
channels distribution
according to the EBU frequency planning. However, this does
not guarantee that these channels are in fact available and
are analogue or digital.

To avoid problems and possible incoherent measures,
perform an auto search prior to executing the data logger.

DATA FILE determines in which file the data logger will be stored
Each
LOG (protocol) represents a group of POINTS , thus
the user is able to save up to 100 points for each LOGx (pro-
tocol x).
Each
POINT represents a file in which the data logger is
stored.

STOP&GO is used when the data loggers process plans which contain
mixed standard channels (SAT, TV and CATV): Every time the
standard changes (from SAT to TV or vice versa), the user is
asked to connect the correct signal source before the meter
continues the measurements.
