middle position after operating temperature
has been reached.
Door lock
To prevent the fridge door from being opened
during travel, it is fitted with an interlock (C).
The picture shows the door when unlocked.
To close, slide the lock to the right.
If the fridge is taken out of service for an
extended period, open the door a little way
and place the interlock switch in the middle
position. This will keep the door ajar to prevent
the formation of mould.

GAS INSTALLATION
6-9
• Before starting your journey, switch the
fridge to the 12 V system.
• Secure the fridge door with the door
lock before travel.
• Prior to use of the fridge in 230 V mode,
make sure that the connected mains
input matches the fridge's technical
data.
• Make sure the fridge's ventilation grill
is unobstructed before use.
• At an outside temperature below 0°C,
winter covers (optional) have to be
installed to prevent damage to the
cooling unit.
Caution
General instructions
• Where possible, use precooled foods.
• Start the fridge up a few hours before you
start your journey to get it down to operating
temperature.
• Food and drinks should only be kept in
tightly sealed containers in the cooling
compartment. Evaporating liquid will help
cause the cooling ribs to ice up.
• You can prevent any knocking noises during
travel by stuffing screwed-up paper between
the containers.
You will find instructions for cleaning the
fridge in our "care tips" on p. 10-2.
Further details can be found in the operating
instructions accompanying the fridge.
