KMR – TRAC
Decommissioning the
sweeper
If the unit is not to be used for a longer period of time,
e.g. during the winter, please observe the following:
Brush roller and outrigger broom must be raised in
order to avoid damage to bristles.
Clean interior and exterior of unit.
Drain fuel tank and carburettor,
– place receptacle under sweeper suitable for
collecting petrol.
Change engine oil (see Chapter: Maintenance).
Park sweeper in a sheltered location, and ensure that
it can not roll away.
Remove ignition key.
Trickle charge battery approx. every two months
(see Chapter: Maintenance).
Transport
Ensure that the unit is properly secured before
transporting it to another location.
Lock parking brake in position.
Sweeper should be secured solely in manner shown,
– with belts
or
– with ropes.
