Connecting the KT-NCC to the Network
The KT-NCC communicates with the EntraPass Server via a10/100 Base-T Ethernet link.

1. Connect the cable from the KT-NCC to the network hosting the server application. Refer to Figure 9:
on Page 24 above.

When connecting the KT-NCC to the network computer, connect the cable in the Ethernet #1 to
the server.
•
When configuring the KT-NCC with the Web Configuration Page, you must use a crossover cable
to connect the Ethernet #2 directly to the RJ-45 connector of the workstation.
Note 1:
The KT-NCC Web Configuration Page is
only
accessible by the Ethernet #2 at IP address
192.168.0.2.
Note 2:
The Ethernet #1 is accessible by the KT-Finder using Ethernet #1 MAC address (00-50-F9-xx-
xx-xx).
Attention:
If you are configuring your network to use a static IP address,
DO NOT
connect the network
cable in the Ethernet Port #1 until indicated in the instructions further down.
