DISMANTLE THE OT600
Tools required:
•
Torx keys T20 and T30
•
10 mm spanner
a) Remove the air hoses and the Hand Controller
b) Place the unit in vertical position
c) Remove the wheel plate by removing the two T30/M6 screws.
d) Refit the two T30/M6 screws in order to secure the internal chassis.
e) Carefully break the bonding between the rubber frame and the casing. There is a risk that the rubber
frame breaks and consequently a new one must be ordered.
f) Remove the two T30/M6 and the six T20/M4 screws that holds the front plate (and rubber frame).
g) Remove the front plate (mind the short earth cable to the potential stud).
h) Remove the earth cable from the potential stud (using a 10 mm spanner).
i) Place the unit back in horizontal position
j) Remove the two T30/M6 screws that secures the internal chassis
k) Gently pull the chassis out of the casing.
Assemble in reversed order. Re-bond the rubber frame with Elastosil A07 Silicone (Wacker).
REMOVING THE MAIN PC-BOARD
Tools required:
•
Torx keys T10
Note
: Make shure to be properly ESD protected when working with the electronics.
a) Remove the four power connectors for fan/heater, compressor, over pressure valve and mains
power. Make note on what connector goes where.
b) Gently remove the four signal connector for the alarm card, the two temp sensors and the hand
controller. Make note on what connector goes where.
d) Gently remove the air hose from the pressure sensor.
e) Remove the seven T10/M3 screws that hold the PC-board.
Assemble in reversed order.
REMOVING THE FAN COVER
Tools required:
•
Torx keys T20
•
Cutting plier
a) Cut loose any cable ties that obstructs five of the twenty T20/M4 screws that secure the fan housing.
Loosen the screws and remove the cover and silicon gasket.
Note
: when assembling the housing, make sure the flange is straight. Tighten all twenty screws
crosswise to the same torque (
0.6 - 0.8 Nm
).
