Before attaching a 75 ohm coaxial lead (the kind with a
round wire going to an outdoor antenna) or an outdoor SW
antenna, disconnect the supplied FM/SW Wire Antenna.

Note:
Even when connecting an outdoor AM an-
tenna, keep the indoor AM/SW loop con-
nected.
Turn the loop until you
have the best reception.
Attach the AM/SW Loop to
its base by snapping the
tabs on the loop into the
slot in the base.
