Taking a Switching Data Plane Offline

Before you replace a TXP-F13 SIB, TXP-F2s SIB, fiber-optic array cable, clean fiber-optic
array cables, you can take the data switching plane offline to avoid performance
degredation.

1.

Issue the

show chassis fabric plane-location

command to identify the switching plane

affected by the replacement or maintenance procedure. For example, the TXP-F13
SIB in slot 6 resides in switching plane
