10 - MAINTENANCE
10.1- Implement General Cleaning
If you will supply your implement until the time of use of the following
crop, make a general cleaning. Remove the conductors of fertilizer boxes,
wash and keep them.
Verify if all the mobile parts do not present wastes, if there is necessity
make the reposition, letting in order the implement to the next work. Retouch
the painting mainly in contact parts of the fertilizer.
Protect the plastic boxes and pulverize the implement with conserving
oil, observing for not use burned oil.
Having accomplished all the maintenance repairs , supply the
implement in appropriated place, out of the contact with the weather
inclemency . Use the supporting bases for keep it in up position and do not
overload the implement weight of the units of fertilizer and seed.
In this section it is suggested some maintenance cares that will allow
a longer equipment useful lifeand a better performance of the same.
Periodically should make a general repair in the machine.
The items described bellow is of extreme importance for the machine
perfect operation and a work without interruptions.
10.2 - Tire Care
To assure the long life of tires of your implement, the following cares
must be taking:
The tires must be with the correct pressure. The failure or excess of
ure provokes the premature waste of the tires and alter the precision in the
seeds and fertilizer distribution.
Verify if the pressure of tires of your implement are according to the
indicated in the list bellow.
Ps: The conditions of the remains cultures are important agents in
the tire useful life, therefore, avoid to let stems with such height that the
same ones stay resistant to the tires action, during the planting.
