4.
Loosen the locking screw that is inside the hole and remove the sanding disc. When refitting the
sanding disc, remember to tighten the locking screw so that it rests against the shaft flat surface.
Setting the worktable 0°-45°
1. Loosen the locking wheel and tilt the worktable to the required position.
2. Tighten the locking wheel again.
Setting the polishing belt
1. Loosen the two nuts. The nut that is not visible is located at the bottom of the sanding disc’s
protective guard. When you have loosened the nuts, move the polishing belt to the vertical position.
2. Tighten the nuts before using the machine.
Positioning the worktable
1. When the polishing belt is in the vertical position, swing the worktable around to the front edge of the
polishing belt.
2. Loosen the screw and adjust the worktable. Note that the gap between the worktable and the
polishing belt should be about 3 mm.
Horizontal polishing
Hold the workpiece against the polishing belt and use the fence for support. Be very careful how you hold
your hands. Do not apply too much pressure against the polishing belt as this can impair results.
Curved polishing
A curved polishing effect can be obtained by holding the workpiece against the idler roller.
Vertical polishing
When the polishing belt is set in a vertical position, the fence can be used for support or swung around
the worktable as previously described.
Horizontal sanding
Place the workpiece on the worktable and feed the workpiece straight towards the sanding disc. This
technique is suitable for processing small areas.
Mitre sanding 0°-45°
Mitre sanding can be performed from 0 to 45 degrees by tilting the worktable. Remember to tighten the
locking screw firmly.
Facade sanding 0°-60°
Use the mitre gauge to sand bevelled edges from 0 to 60 degrees. Tighten the mitre gauge firmly before
using the machine.
