The figures quoted are emission levels and are not necessarily safe working levels. Whilst there is a
correlation between the emission and exposure levels, this cannot be used reliably to determine whether
or not further precautions are required. Factors that influence the actual level of exposure of the
workforce include the characteristics of the work room and the other sources of noise etc. i.e. the number
of machines and other adjacent processes. Also the permissible exposure level can vary from country to
country. This information, however, will enable the user of the machine to make a better evaluation of the
hazard and risk.

ASSEMBLY
Stand
1. Start by assembling the four stand legs and the two cross stays. Bolts and nuts can be found in the
bag with the fasteners. Do not finish tightening yet.
2. Now fit the upper part of the stand onto the stand legs and tighten all the screws and nuts.
Main unit on stand
1. Position the main unit on the stand so that the predrilled holes align.
2. Tighten the bolts and washers.
Fence
1. Install the fence.
2. Tighten securely. The fence is an important guard when using machine.
Worktable
1. Loosen the locking screw and insert the table stay in the hole. Remember that the shaft’s flat surface
must face the locking screw.
2. Tighten the locking screw to leave a gap of about 3 mm between the table and sanding disc.
Setting the polishing belt
Adjust the polishing belt tension and centring on the rollers using the setting wheel. Use the hex key for
this adjustment.
Replacing the polishing belt
1. Repeat the procedure "Setting the polishing belt" above.
2. Loosen and remove the polishing belt.
3. Fit a new belt and adjust the belt tension.
Replacement of sand paper and V-belt
1.
Loosen the wheel and open the protective cover for the sanding disc.
2.
Tear off the old abrasive paper, remove any glue remaining on the sanding disc and apply new
sanding paper.
3.
Insert the hex key into the rectangular hole at the bottom of the sanding disc’s guard.
