OPERATION
BEFORE FIRST USE
General
The machine must be placed in a stable position on a bench or similar and anchored to the bench.
All protective and safety devices must be fitted according to the instructions before using for the
first time.
The saw blade must be able to move freely.
Always be careful when working with wood that has already been processed as it may have nails,
screws or other foreign objects in it.
Before you press the power button, make sure the blade is mounted correctly and that moving
parts move freely.
Make sure the data on the type plate corresponds to the mains data before connecting the
machine.
Fit the saw blade (fig. 1-2, 5-8)
Loosen the locking handle (15) about 2 turns to move the turntable (18).
Turn the turntable (18) and the indicator (16) to the required angle on the scale (17) and lock with
the locking handle (15). The saw has locking positions at -45°, -31.6°, -22.5°, -15°, 0°, 15°, 22.5°,
31.6°, 45°. In these positions you can let the lever lock.
Press the machine head (4) gently downwards and at the same time pull out the lock pin (28) from
the motor carrier to release the saw from the lower position.
Swing the machine head (4) upward until the locking lever (3) engages.
The clamping device (8) can be mounted to the left or right of the fixed saw table (19).
The machine head can be tilted by max. 45 degrees to the left by loosening the locking screw (20).
To tilt the machine head (4) by max. 45° to the right, loosen the screw (20), pull out the lock pin
(27) and swing the saw to the right.
The support (30) prevents the saw from tilting forward when in use. Unscrew the support (30) until
it rests against the surface.
Slide both supports for the workpiece (10) into the fixed saw table (19) and lock with the locking
screw (29).
Fit the locking handle (15).
Push on the metal ring for the dust bag (24) to expand it and fit to the extractor adapter (34).
Anchor the saw to the worktop (fig. 1)
Anchor the saw to an appropriate, stable surface, for example a workbench, with bolts through the
holes in the feet (13).
NOTE!
Workbench not included.
Fine adjustment of the stop when cross cutting 90° (fig. 1, 9-10)
Secure the turntable (18) in position 0°.
Loosen the locking screw (20) and tilt the machine head (4) to 0° using the handle (1).
Set the stop square to 90° (a) between the blade (7) and the turntable (18).
Loosen the stop nut (37) and adjust the adjustment screw (36) until the angle between the saw
blade (7) and the turntable (18) is 90°.
Tighten the stop nut (37) again to fix in this position.
Finally, check the indicator’s (21) position on the scale (22). If necessary loosen the indicator (21)
with a crosshead screwdriver and position at 0° on the scale (22) and tighten the locking screw
again.
NOTE!
The stop angle is not included.
Fine adjustment of the stop when sawing 45° mitres (fig. 1, 11-13)
Secure the turntable (18) in position 0°.
Loosen the locking screw (20) and tilt the machine head (4) as far as possible to the left to the
position 45° using the handle (1).
Set the stop angle to 45° (b) between the blade (7) and the turntable (18).
