Adjust the adjustment screw (38) so that the angle between the saw blade (7) and the turntable
(18) becomes exactly 45°.
Fine adjustment of the stop for sawing mitres (right): Position the machine head (4) at 0°. Pull out
the lock pin (27) to set the incline to 45° right. Follow the instructions for tilting 45° to the left.
NOTE!
The stop angle is not included.
USE
Cross cutting 90° and 0° turntable (fig. 1-2, 14)
With saw widths up to 100 mm the saw can be fixed in the rear position with guide locking screw
(25). If the saw width exceeds 100 mm, the guide locking screw (25) must be loosened and the
machine head (4) floating.
Place the machine head (4) in the uppermost position.
Slide the machine head (4) backward using the handle (1) and fix in this position if necessary
(depending on saw width).
Lay the workpiece on the stop rail (11) and the turntable (18).
Adjust stop rails (9), if necessary, to width of the workpiece and secure.
Clamp the workpiece using the clamping device (8) to the fixed saw table (19) to prevent it from
moving while sawing.
Press the locking lever (3) to release the machine head (4).
Press the power switch (2) to start the motor.
If the guide locking screw has been tightened (26): Move the machine head (4) smoothly and with
slight downward pressure using the handle (1) until the saw blade (7) cuts through the workpiece.
If the guide locking screw is not tightened (26): Pull the machine head (4) fully forward and then
smoothly downward with slight pressure using the handle (1). Now move the machine head (4)
slowly and smoothly backward until the blade (7) has completely cut through the workpiece.
When you have cut the workpiece, move the machine head (4) back to the uppermost home
position and release the power switch (2).
WARNING!
The machine has a return spring that allows the machine to automatically move back up again. Do not
release the handle (1) after sawing, but raise the machine head (4) slowly and with slight pressure.
Cross cutting 90° and turntable 0°-45° (fig. 1-2, 15)
Cross cutting is possible at 0°-52° left and 0°-48° right against the stop rail.
Loosen the turntable (18) by unscrewing the locking screw (12).
Turn the turntable (18) and the indicator (16) to the required angle on the scale (17) and secure
with the locking screw (12). The saw has locking positions at -45°, -31,6°, -22,5°, -15°, 0°, 15°,
22,5°, 31,6° and 45°. In these positions you can let the lever lock.
Tighten the locking screw (12) again to secure the turntable (18).
Secure the workpiece.
Cut according to the instructions.
Mitre sawing 0°-45° and turntable 0° (fig. 1-2, 16)
Mitre sawing is possible 0°-45° to the left and right against the work surface.
If necessary, remove the clamping device (8) or fit it on the opposite side of the fixed saw table
(19).
Place the machine head (4) in the uppermost position.
Secure the turntable (18) in position 0°.
Loosen the locking screw (20) and tilt the machine head (4) using the handle (1) to the left until the
indicator (21) is in the required position on the scale (22).
Tilt the machine head to the right: Loosen the locking screw (20) and position the machine head (4)
at 0°. Pull out the lock pin (27) and tilt the machine head (4) to the right until the indicator (21) is in
the required position on the scale (22).
Tighten the locking screw (20) again, secure the workpiece and cut according to the instructions.
