Mitre sawing 0°-45° and turntable 0°-45° (fig. 1-3, 17)
Mitre sawing is possible at 0°-45° right and left against the work surface and at the same time at
0°-48° left and 0°-48° right against the stop rail (double mitre sawing).
If necessary, remove the clamping device (8) or fit it on the opposite side of the fixed saw table
(19).
Place the machine head (4) in the uppermost position.
Loosen the turntable (18) by unscrewing the locking screw (12).
Use the handle (1) to position the turntable (18) in the required position.
Tighten the locking screw (12) again to secure the turntable.
Loosen the locking screw (20) and tilt the machine head (4) using the handle (1) to the left or right
to the required angle.
Tighten the locking screw (20) again.
Cut according to the instructions.
Limiting the cutting depth (fig. 18)
The cutting depth can be variably adjusted using the screw (32). Loosen the knurled nut on the
screw (32). Set the required cutting depth by turning the screw (32) in or out. Finally tighten the
knurled nut on the screw (32).
Do a test cut to check the settings.
Dust bag (fig. 1-3)
The saw is equipped with a dust bag (24).
The dust bag (24) is emptied through a zipped opening on the bottom.
An appropriate dust extraction device is connected to the extractor adapter (34).
Changing the saw blade (fig. 1, 19-23)
Pull out the plug from the mains socket.
Swing up the machine head (4) and lock it in the uppermost position with the lock pin (27).
Remove the screw (38) on the guard (39). Press the locking lever (3), slide the saw blade guard (6)
upward and move the guard until the flange screw (40) is visible.
Hold the saw spindle catch (5) with one hand and place the spanner (35) on the flange screw (40).
Hold the saw spindle catch (5) firmly and turn the flange screw (40) slowly clockwise. After at most
one turn, the saw spindle catch (5) engages.
Use a little more force to unscrew the flange screw (40) clockwise.
Unscrew the flange screw (40) completely and remove the outer flange (41).
Remove the saw blade (7) from the inner flange and pull out downwards.
Carefully clean the flange screw (40), outer flange (41) and inner flange.
Fit the new saw blade (7) in reverse order and tighten.
Warning: The saw blade (7) teeth must face the direction of rotation (see arrow on the cover).
Ensure that all guards function before using the saw.
Warning: Check each time the saw blade is replaced that the saw blade does not make contact
with the table arm (14), both in vertical position and when inclined at 45° (14).
Warning: Follow the instructions for replacement and alignment of the saw blade (7).
Using the laser (fig. 1, 24)
Switching on: Turn the laser power switch (33) to the ON position (23). A laser line is projected on
the workpiece. The line shows the exact saw line.
Switching off: Turn the laser power switch (33) to the 0 position.
Setting the laser: You can adjust the laser by loosening the screw (42) slightly. Tighten the screw
again after adjusting the laser. Warning: Do not look directly into the laser beam!
MAINTENANCE AND SERVICE
NOTE!
Disconnect the power cord from the mains before cleaning the machine.
Keep safety devices, ventilation openings and the motor housing as free from dust and dirt as
possible. Wipe the machine with a clean cloth or blow clean with compressed air at low pressure.
We recommend that you clean the machine immediately after use.
Clean the machine periodically with a damp cloth and some soap. Do not use detergents or
solvents as these can damage plastic parts. Make sure water does not enter the machine.
