ALARM / Low battery:
The ALARM / BAT LED has two functions:
1) The RED LED indicates an external alarm.
2) BLUE flashing LED indicates a low battery. The receiver will still work for several hours, just
the intensity of the LEDs will fade.
How to reach the maximum range of the set:
The range of the receiver can go up to several hundred meters in open terrain and up to 1 km in
flat areas. Any terrain irregularities, banks, slopes, buildings, cars or other obstacles limit the range.
The indicator should be placed 0.5 meter above the ground if you require extreme range.
If you carry the receiver with you; and you wish to reach its maximum range, put it into your
upper pocket or hang it on the enclosed lanyard. Do not place the receiver or the alarms on metal
items. The antennas of both devices should be directed upwards. Despite the extreme range
possible with this set, we ask you to adhere to the Angling Rules and not be further from your
rods than necessary. While setting up your gear, make sure to verify the range of the JRC Radar
XTX set in the chosen area.
Recommendation:
Even though the JRC RADAR XTX alarms and receiver have been designed to have a long battery
lifetime, we highly recommend removing the batteries at the end of the angling season and to use
new ones for the next season.
Guarantee
Because we believe in the superb quality of our RADAR Detection System, we offer a 24 month
guarantee for the JRC RADAR XTX alarms and receiver.
The guarantee cannot be acknowledged in the following cases:
- mechanical damage of the product (this also includes damaging the screw and / or casing by
tightening the alarm too hard on the buzz bar or bankstick)
- damage caused by connection of unsuitable accessories
- upon breach into the product (handling with printed circuit board)
- damage because of leaking batteries or wrongly placed batteries (reversed polarity)!
- We recommend using solely high-quality alkaline batteries. Cheap batteries can seriously
damage the product.

The service is done solely by JRC Authorized Service Centers.
