A person is collapsing.
- Secure the safety of the surrounding
area.
- Prevent secondary disasters.
Check for response.
- Call while tapping the shoulder.
Ask for help.
- Make an emergency call.
- Ask to bring an AED.
Open the airway.

Chest compressions
- Press straight down by about 5 cm on the chest and release
quickly.
- Repeat this process at a rate of 100-120 times per minute.

- Turn on the power.
- Use the AED by following its voice
prompts.

) Chest compression and rescue breathing
- If not trained, perform chest compression only.
- If already trained and want to also perform
rescue breaths, give two rescue breaths after
every 30 chest compressions. Also, to avoid
infection risk, use the dedicated mouthpiece for
rescue breathing.
