F ittin g the W all Brackets
• Dra w a v ertical line on the su pp ortin g w all u p to the
ceilin g, or as hi g h as p ractical , at the centre o f the area
in w hich the hood w ill be installed .
• Dra w a hori z ontal line at 6 5 0 mm abo v e the hob .
• P lace bracket item 7.2.1 on the w all as sho w n about 1 - 2
mm f rom the ceilin g or u pp er limit ali g nin g the centre
( notch ) w ith the v ertical re f erence line .
• M ark the w all at the centres o f the holes in the brack-
et .
• P lace bracket item 7.2.1 on the w all as sho w n at X mm
belo w the f irst bracket ( X = hei g ht o f the u pp er chim-
ne y section su pp lied ), ali g nin g the centre ( notch ) w ith the
v ertical line .
• M ark the w all at the centres o f the holes in the brack-
et .
• Dra w a hori z ontal line throu g h the v ertical at 306mm
abo v e the hob and mark t w o hole centres at 11 6mm
either side o f the v etical line .
• Drill ø 8 mm holes at all the centre p oints marked .
• Insert the w all p lu g s ( not su pp lied ) in the holes .
• F i x the brackets usin g the scre w s ( not su pp lied ).
• Insert t w o scre w s into the t w o holes 11 6mm either side
o f the v ertical line and ti g hten lea v in g a s p ace bet w een
the underside o f the scre w head and the w all o f 5 -6mm .
Note: If the hood is to be installed onto a hollow
construction or plaster or partition board wall
then special fixing screws will be required (not
supplied).

• Hook the hood bod y onto the t w o scre w s item 12 a .
• F ull y ti g hten the scre w s item 12 a .
