E lectrical R e q uirements

E lectrical C onnection
Be f ore connectin g to the mains su pp l y ensure that the
mains v olta g e corres p onds to the v olta g e on the ratin g
p late inside the cooker hood .
R emo v e the g rease f ilters ( see p ara g ra p h M aintenance )
bein g sure that the connector o f the f eedin g cable is
correctl y inserted in the socket p laced on the side o f
the f an .
T his a pp liance is f itted w ith a 3 core mains cable and
must be p ermanentl y connected to the electricit y su pp l y
v ia a double- p ole s w itch ha v in g 3mm minimum contact
g a p on each p ole . A Sw itched F use C onnection U nit to
B S1 363 P art 4 , f itted w ith a 3 A m p f use , is a recom-
mended mains su pp l y connection accessor y to ensure
com p liance w ith the S a f et y R e q uirements a pp licable to
f i x ed w irin g instructions .
