CONCERN
POSSIBLE CAUSE & ACTION TO BE TAKEN
My drill will not run.
1. Make sure the battery is pushed all the way in until it clicks and is
in the locked position.
2. Make sure the battery is not low on power. Charge if necessary.
3. The battery may be too cold. Place battery in a warm area. One
light will slowly blink on the battery if battery is too cold.
4. If the battery is left on the motor assembly, after 35 minutes of
inactivity, the battery will go into Sleep Mode. Press the Check
Battery button to operate.
I have to push down hard to
drill a hole.
Center point or Ripper™ blade may be dull. Correctly sharpen the
blade or center point or replace.
My drill runs but does not cut.
1. Check to make sure the control switch is in the counter-clockwise
position.
2. You may have a dull center point or Ripper™ blade. Sharpen or
replace.
3. You may have concern with the cutting head.
My battery does not charge.
1. Make sure you have the battery pushed all the way into the charger.
2. Make sure the charger is plugged in.
3. Check the electrical breaker for the outlet you are using.
4. Check to make sure the charger contacts haven’t been shorted out
by debris or foreign material.
5. If the air temperature is above 100°F or below 32°F in the area you
are charging, the charger will not charge the battery.
6. If the battery is warm or hot, the charger will not charge until the
battery cools down. You can leave the battery on the charger and
the charger will automatically start when the battery cools down.
7. When the battery is put on the charger and the RED LED light does
not turn on, remove the battery and wait 1 minute and try charging
again. If this fails, remove the battery and unplug the charger. Let
stand for 1 minute. Then plug the charger in and put the battery on.
It should charge. If not, there is something wrong with the charger
I can’t find my serial number.
The serial number is located on a black decal with white font on the
silver transmission. The serial number is 13 characters and looks
like: 56XXXXXXX-XXX.
My drill runs then stops.
1. Battery may be low on power. Charge battery.
2. Check to make sure battery is pushed into its locked position.
