h) Remove the pickup drums case (9) from the
machine’s structure, removing the side bolts (10) using
a wrench according to sub-item 12.1 table.
I) Remove the bolts (11) using a wrench according to
sub-item 12.1 table and then remove the counter-knife
(1) located on the left side of the product inlet nozzle to
the chopping impeller.
j) Invert the counter-knife position (1) and fasten it
again, with the bolts (11). See the item 12 tables to find
out which wrench and torque you should use.
k) Reinstall the case of the pickup drums (9) following
the reverse order of the disassembling.
I) Install the cover (1).
Attention:
After assembling the counter-knife,
check the gap between the counter-knife
and the chopping impeller’s knives,
according to the sub-item 7.5 procedure.
Checking the gap or interference
prevents possible damages to the knife
that would cause splinters throwing that
might cause injuries to the operator or
other people nearby.
Always wear the Personal Protective
Equipment to carry out this operation.
Attention:
Never operate the harvester without
shield, covers and fairings.
f) Close the gears box cover.
g) Remove the bolt (7), using a wrench according to the
sub-item 12.1 table, and then remove the spring (8).
