PROBLEMS DURING OPERATION

10.1 General

All equipmet is subject to strict final inspections. However, should there be any

problem, the device has to be checked according to the following instructions.

In case the problem can not be solved, please contact your authorized dealer.

A distinction is made between errors and warnings:

Errors

If errors occur, the welding process is stopped immediately. A re-ignition is not possible until

the error is resolved.

Some errors can be reset by switching the machine off and on see

error list

Warnings

Warnings serve as information that something is wrong. The welding process is not

interrupted. Ignored warnings can result in error messages.

LED indicator for system failures

Overtemperature

Flashing LED:

Thermal overload of the device.

The welding process is interrupted. Welding is no longer

possible. After sufficient cooling, the unit is ready for use

again.

Water shortage

Lit LED:

Water shortage

Insufficient cooling liquid in the water tank.

Add coolant.

Reset the error by switching the unit off and on.

Call up error memory on the display:

Upcoming system failures are shown on the display

and the welding process is interrupted immediately.

By simultaneously pressing and holding the keys



the upcoming errors are displayed in the “error

memory”. Scroll through the list of errors with the

keys



. Exit the error memory by pressing and
