COMMISSIONING
7.1 General Instructions

prior to first commissioning.
All welding leads and cables may only be connected when the power source
is switched off!
7.2 Utilisation for intended purposes only
The welding machine is intended to be used exclusively for MIG/MAG – welding, MIG -
brazing, TIG-welding and MMA. Any other use is deemed to be not in accordance with
the „intended purpose“ and the manufacturer shall not be liable for any damage
resulting therefrom.
7.3 Installation requirements
The welding device should be securely installed on a solid and level ground.
A machine that topples down may cause danger to life.
The operating elements have to be easily accessible.
The venting duct is a safety device. The cooling air entrance and exit louvers on
the front and back or the side must not be restricted in any way. Conductive dust
must not be sucked directly into the system.
The welding machine is tested to „protection class IP 23“ which means:

Protection against penetration by solid foreign bodies with diameters
larger than 12 mm.

Protection against spray water up to an angle of 60° to the vertical.
The welding machine can be set up and operated outdoors, in accordance
with IP23. However, the built-in electrical components must be protected
against direct wetness.
7.4 Mains connection
The welding machine is designed to run on the mains voltage indicated on the rating plate.
