Suggestion of possible remedies
Alarm message
Possible causes
Possible remedies
System Start
System trigs back to normal operation after lag time
Keyboard locked
Keyboard lock is ON (max. 60 sec)
Keyboard is free after the time for 60 sec has elapsed
Sensor alarm
Input power < 4mA, Input power > 1mA
or faulty input module
• Check sensors connection
• Replace input module
„Measuring unit“ not calibrated
corresponding input not calibrated
Calibrate the input
„Measuring unit“
Calibration not OK
• Insufficient resistivity of the electrode
• Zero point drift too large
Change buffer solution or replace electrode
Sensor or combination electrode not compliant to DIN Standards
Check and eventually replace the input sensor
Defective input module
Check and eventually replace the input sensor
Faulty potentiometer compensation
Position feedback: compensation was not done
Perform compensation
Filter backwash
manually started (external contact)
The system sets automatically back to normal mode
after due lag time. Please wait.
Water shortage
Water is not enough, or the through-flow contact is defective
• Provide bigger water flow
• Check through-flow contact
Level-Pre-alarm (programmable)
Chemicals container is nearly empty
Fill up chemical agents or change container
Level-Main alarm (programmable)
Chemicals container is empty
Fill up chemical agents or change container
Max-Alarm
Measuring value max settings were exceeded
• Check measurement or sensor
• Adjust controller’s parameter
Min-Alarm
Measuring value min settings were exceeded
Y-Alarm
Safety stop (see paragraph 9.)
