Chapter 16: Menu structure and configuration
Menu 5.2: Outputs
main menu >> menu >> service >> outputs
The menu permits:
• Adjusting the parameters for the current configured type of
output (see chapter 7 “control unit outputs”).
• Adjusting the maximum limits for the outputs.
Menu 5.3: Autosetup
main menu >> menu >> service >> autosetup
This menu allows you to perform automatic determination of the
settings of the free-chlorine controller (see chapter 15). The time
for performing eventual adjustments depends on the actual con-
ditions of the control system (max time is approx 4 hours).
Menu 5.4: Restart
main menu >> menu >> service >> restart
The menu permits:
• Reset: Restart the instrument using the same configuration
• Default settings:Restart the instrument using the original
default settings (see Chapter 19)
Menu 5.5: Network
main menu >> menu >> service >> network
The menu permits the setting of the RS 485 network address
to connect the TOPAX DX with any PC and TOPAX device in an
network (see Chapter 4.4 and 19).
Menu 5.6: Logfile
main menu >> menu >> service >> logfile
The data logger contains the full list of all settings done on your
TOPAX DX and can be viewed as clear text on your TOPX DX
screen or on your PC but in this case you must replace the exist-
ing MMC memory card.
Menu 5.7: Clock
main menu >> menu >> service >> clock
Any time when you replace the batteries of your instrument you
need to access in this menu in order to reset the instrument
clock. (The clock standard setting is the central European time).
Menu 5.8: Timer
main menu >> menu >> service >> timer
In this menu you can adjust the timer of your instrument so that
night-time functions are automatically switched on and you al-
locate to individual week days.
Menu 5.9 und 5.10: Code und Service-Code
main menu >> menu >> service >> code /service-code
In these menus you can block the various levels by using a 4-dig-
its numeric password. The system will lock only operative menus.
Information menus will remain free.

Enter this code to protect the menus “calibration” and
“setpoint” and make accessible only to password users.

Service-Code
Enter this code to protect the menus „service” and „con-
troller” and make accessible only to password users.
Failure to enter any of the above codes, all programmable pa-
rameters will remain freely accessible.
BEWARE!
IIf you enter a protection code, the related menu will
be only accessible after entering the password. Enter
the protection code and press „OK“ to confirm.
Menu 5.11: DIN-contact/ECO-contact
main menu >> menu >> service >> DIN contacte
This menu allows you to adjust the values and the lag time of
switching contact for energy-saving operation.
Menu 5.12: Flocculation
main menu >> menu >> Service >> flocculation
Set the parameters required to operate and start the flocking
pump. It is possible to select among the following operation
modes:

Menu 5.13: Alarm action

Use this menu to set the behaviour of the controller and the func-
tioning of the alarm relay in case of any alarm to be switched
on.
• Controller ON: the controller remains on if an alarm goes on
