Specifying Copper settings
If you purchased the Copper/ADSL combo version of the tester (the “Gold”
package), you will need to specify copper settings. The following procedure
describes how to specify the Copper settings.
To specify Copper settings

Select
COPPER TEST
from the Main Menu.

Select
SETUP
.
The Setup menu appears.

Press the

key and then specify the DEFAULT PAIR.

Press the

key and then specify the CABLE TYPE.

If you selected CUSTOM as the cable type, additional settings must be
specified.

Specify the mutual values (nF/mile or nF/Km).

Specify the ground values (nF/mile or nF/Km).

key and then specify the CABLE GAUGE.

key and then specify the TEMPERATURE.

key and then specify the SYSTEM UNITS: Metric or US.
