5. Turn the tool on until it reaches its full speed.
6. Place the shoe onto the workpiece and start
sawing the material.
WARNING! Just use enough pressure for a proper cu-
tting and always make the saw to come into contact
with the workpiece when it has reached its full speed to
prevent a loss of control and the breakage of the blade.
Metal Cutting
1. Do not bend or twist the saw blade due to an ex-
cessive pressure while cutting sheet steel, pipe,
aluminum, brass and copper, etc.
2. Lubricating the cutting surface with cutting oil is re-
commended to avoid the overheating of the blade.
3. Follow the general cutting procedure.
MAINTENANCE
•
Always be sure that the tool is switched off and
the battery pack is removed from the tool before
attempting to perform inspection or maintenance.
• Regularly clean the tool’s air vents with compres-
sed dry air. Do not attempt to clean by inserting
pointed objects through openings.
• Do not use cleaning agents to clean the plastic
parts of the tool, a mild detergent on a damp cloth
is recommended instead.
• Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly main-
tained tools with sharp cutting edges are less likely
to bind and are easier to control.
