Slideout (if so equipped)
Pull the manual slideout out using the
handle(s) located on the exterior sidewall. Pull
the tent flaps located on the side of the slideout
out over edge and attach them to the Velcro.
Do not extend the slideout before pulling
the beds out.
Opening the folding camping trailer
1. Lower the stabilizer jacks.
2. Unfasten each roof latch (A).
3. Turn the thumb latch and open the roof
crank compartment. Insert the roof crank
into the square tube and turn it clockwise
(B) to raise the roof.
4. Raise the roof until the tent is loosely
extended. The roof needs to be high
enough to ensure that the tent will not be in
the path of the bed slide (if so equipped)
during the bed setup.
5. The straight bed braces and curved bed
braces are stored under the bed mattress.
Before pulling out the front bed, place the
flat end of the bed brace into the slot
provided on the frame (C).
6. Place the bent hook into the bracket
attached to the front exterior sidewall (C).
7. Pull the beds out until the rail hits the bed
stop. Distribute the awning panel over the
bunk and place the corners of the tent over
the bed corners.
Ensure the beds are
extended all the way out against the
stops.
8. Place the flattened end of the straight bed
brace into the slot provided on the frame of
the camper. Place the angled and
smashed end of the straight bed brace into
the bed bracket near the outer corner
under the plywood bunk bed.
