Connecting the Black Cat II Plus Radar
to Your Computer – Wireless Bluetooth
The Black Cat II Plus Radar Recorder has wireless Bluetooth capability
which allows you to connect without a hard wire. To do this, first start
the STARnext software on your laptop and select Setup from the Actions
section of the Quick Start screen. You'll then see a screen showing the dif-
ferent devices for setup. Select Black Cat Radar on the right.
Chapter 3 — Programming the Radar Head
Once the Black Cat Radar Recorder Setup screen appears, select the serial
number of your unit from the Bluetooth LE dropdown box and click the
Connect button. STARnext will attempt to connect to the Black Cat II
Plus Radar Recorder and, if successful, show the current status of the unit,
including the Counter Info, which is described on page 3-4.
