3. Opening 

Inspection

Note: Avoid dust or other impurities entering the equipment.
1. Open the package and place the equipment on a stable, dry horizontal surface.
2. Verify that the equipment and all its components are not damaged during transportation.
3. Con

 rm whether the goods are in conformity with the ordered products.

4. View nameplate, warning label, serial number.

• Warning label: usually on the top of the hood. Before use, please read the warning label on the welding pow-

er source carefully. Do not cover, smear or tear the label.

• Serial number: generally pasted on the back panel or bottom of the machine. The serial number of welding 

machine is unique, especially when equipment is repaired and spare parts are ordered.

• Nameplate: It is usually attached to the back plate or bottom of the welding machine. The parameters in the 

nameplate can be used as reference.
