Before using, connect the supplied mains
adapter to the DC 5V IN socket at the rear
of the unit and then to the mains socket.
basic operation
powering ON/OFF
After connecting the mains adapter to the unit and the mains socket, switch the ON/OFF
switch to the ON position. The unit will enter
Standby
mode.
• Press the
STANDBY
button to switch the unit on.
• The first time the unit is switched on, the unit will automatically enter
DAB
mode and
start the auto tune quick scan for DAB stations.
• During scanning, the display will show a slide bar that indicates the progress of the scan,
and the amount of radio stations that have been found so far. Once the scan has finished,
the unit will select the first alphanumeric station.
• The broadcaster (Radio station) provides clock and date information automatically. You
cannot manually set this information on this unit.
• Press the
STANDBY
button to switch the unit back to
Standby
mode.
• Switch the
ON/OFF
switch to the OFF position to switch the unit off.
• The clock will reset itself automatically after 12-15 seconds the next time the unit is
switched on.
