Operation
The operator should use the tool only for its
•
intended purposes. Local conditions must be taken
into consideration.
Under no circumstances may the device be
•
used in close proximity to other people, children or
animals.
The machine may not be used after the
•
consumption of alcohol, narcotics or narcotic
anesthetics medication.
The tool shall be operated only by trained
•
operators, or by those who can demonstrate their

Always hold the machine with both hands whilst

you are working. Mobile trunks and branch timber
should be fixed to a trestle using clamps or other
suitable tools.
Under no circumstances should the machine be
•
held by its protective devices.
Do not allow cables to come within the working
•
zone of the cutting part of the machine.
Always ensure there are solid supports and that
•
balance is maintained when using the machine,
especially when using props or steps.
Pay careful attention to the surrounding
•
environment in order to be able to timely react to a
possible dangerous situation.
Setup
Before any work on the machine itself,
pull the mains plug.
Protective gloves must be worn when
touching the chain.

Place the machine on a level surface.
•
Place saw chain (6) in the channel all around
•
guide bar (7). Pay attention to the correct direction
of movement. Ensure that the direction of the chain
is the same as that of rotation direction symbol
(22).
Place the chain around chain wheel (23) and
•
guide bar (7) in the same way, such that positioning
pin (17) and guide (19) fall into the longitudinal
aperture of guide bar (7) and chain tension pin (20)
falls into the hole provided for it on guide bar (7). If
required, turn chain tension bolt (18) to adjust pin
(20) to the aperture. Check that all parts are correctly
