CAUTION:
• During engine warming up, be sure to apply
the effect to the brakes to avoid the Zero
turn mower from travellng unexpectedly.
Note: Warming up criteria and atmospheric temperatures:
3. STOPPING THE ENGINE
a. Shift the throttle lever to the low speed position (

) to
reduce engine speeds.
b. Apply the parking brake lever,2, securely.
CAUTION:Park the Zero turn mower on level,
hard ground and make sure that the parking
brake lever are applied securely.
c. Turn the key switch,1, to the STOP (
$
) position to
stop the engine.
IMPORTANT: • Never attempt stopping the engine
abruptly when it is running at high
speeds.
• Be sure to let the engine idle for about 5
minutes after a longtime operation and
then stop the engine. Abrupt engine
stopping may lend to overheating caus-
ing seizure.
d. Remove the starter key and cap,3, the key hole with-
out fail.
CAUTION: When you leave the Zero turn
mower, be sure to stop the engine and
remove the starter key to prevent the Zero
turn mower from being started unexpectedly
by children or unauthorised people.
IMPORTANT: Be sure to cap the key hole after having
removed the starter key. Otherwise, water
or dust may enter into the switch which
may cause trouble.
