Before Each Use

Inspect for and remove all nails from lumber before using this tool.
Electric shock hazard. Use caution when cutting into walls. Make sure power has been shut off in
the event of cutting through wires hidden in a wall.
Make sure the blade does not touch the workpiece until the motor reaches full speed.
Check that the correct blade for the material being cut is installed in the saw.
Be sure the blade is firmly clamped into the blade holder.
Make sure there are no nails, screws, clamps, or foreign materials in the path of the saw blade.

To reduce the risk of injury, wear NIOSH compliant breathing protection.
Hold power tool by insulated gripping surfaces, when performing an operation where the cutting
accessory may contact hidden wiring or its own cord.
Use clamps or another practical way to secure and support the workpiece to a stable platform.
Make sure there are no nails, screws, clamps, or foreign materials in the path of the saw blade.

Never hold the workpiece in one hand and the saw in the other hand when sawing. Never place
the hands near or below the cutting surface. Clamp the workpiece and guide the saw with both

cause the saw to jump.
