If required, remove the sports bar 

from the vehicle.

 

Take care to inspect any mounting 

holes left after removal of the 

sports bar. If necessary, coat 

any exposed metal with a cold 

galvanising solution to protect 

against corrosion.

4. 

Clean the top faces of the ute tub.

 

A clean surface reduces chances 

of damage and corrosion, and 

improves the seal of the  

Slide-Away on the vehicle.
