The GCL1908W/GCL1916W Firmware upgrade mode can be accessed one of two ways:
by entering a hotkey sequence (see
Hotkeys
) or by placing the GCL1908W/GCL1916W in
Firmware Upgrade Recovery Mode (See
Firmware Upgrade Recovery
)
1. Turn GCL1908W/GCL1916W power off using the power switch located on the back
side of the console
2. Slide the Firmware switch to RECOVER
3. Turn GCL1908W/GCL1916W power on using the power switch located on the back
side of the console
When the GCL1908W/GCL1916W is in Firmware Upgrade Mode, the Num Lock, Caps Lock
and Scroll Lock LEDs will continuously flash on and off

Starting Firmware Upgrade
1. With the GCL1908W/GCL1916W on Firmware Upgrade Mode, run the downloaded
Firmware Upgrade Package file from your computer – either by double clicking the file
icon or by opening a command line and keying the full path and filename
2. Read and Agree to the License Agreement (enable the “I Agree” radio button)
