CONTROLS WITH TEMPERATURE LEVELS
1. Freezer temperature control.
Freezer compartment temperature adjustment. The
freezer temperature is pre-set at the factory to -18°C.
Allow 24 hours for the temperature to stabilize at the
recommended default setting, this temperature
allows the refrigerator to be better utilized for energy.
To change the freezer temperature, press the Freezer
button and the currently set temperature will be
displayed, press the button again and release, contin-
ue to do this until the desired temperature is found.
2. Refrigerator temperature control.
Refrigerator temperature control.
Setting the refrigerator temperature. The temperature
of fresh food is preset at the factory to 3°C. Allow 24
hours for the temperature to stabilize at the recom-
mended pre-set setting. This temperature allows the
refrigerator to make better use of energy.
To change the refrigerator temperature, press the
Fridge button and the currently set temperature will
be displayed, press the button again and release,
continue to do this until the desired temperature is
found.
3. Filter status.
The LED on the Filter Status button will light up when
the filter needs to be changed. After changing the
filter, press the Filter Status button for three seconds
to reset the filter change time timer.
4. TurboCool ™
To configure the
TurboCool ™
, press the
Turbo-Cool
button ™
for 3 seconds. The display will show tc.
TurboCool ™
quickly cools the refrigerator compart-
ment for faster cooling of the feeds. Use
TurboCool
™
when adding a large amount of food to the refriger-
ator, storing foods that have been at room tempera-
ture or storing warm food scraps.
It can also be used if the refrigerator has been
unplugged for an extended period.
NOTE:
The temperature of the refrigerator cannot be
changed while using
TurboCool ™
. The freezer
temperature is not affected during the use of
Turbo-
Cool ™
. When opening the refrigerator door during
TurboCool ™
use, the fans will continue to run if they
have been activated.
5. Door alarm.
To set the alarm, press the
Door
Alarm key until the
indicator light lights up. This alarm will sound if one of
the doors remains open for more than 2 minutes. The
light turns off and the beep stops when the door is
closed.
NOTE:
To turn the refrigerator control OFF, press the
words Freezer and Fridge simultaneously for 3 seconds.
Power to the refrigerator cannot be turned off by any
control panel setting.
SABBATH MODE
Activate the standby mode to deactivate the temperature control and advanced functions. (E.g. door alarm).
Depending on the model, the interior lights will be off or dim regardless of whether the door is open or closed.
The compressor will run on a programmed defrost when in Sabbath mode.
Press and hold the
Alarm and Filter Status
key simultaneously for 5 seconds to
enter and exit Sabbath mode.
The ice maker must be turned off manually during the sabbatical mode. To turn off
the ice factory, turn the switch to the OFF position.
To turn the ice machine on, set the switch to the ON position.
Note:
Sabbatical mode does not affect the temperature of the refrigerator.
