Detailed System Specifications
Introduction:
The MZ-5 FS performs visual examinations of bore ID. It provides white and UV illumination while viewing the
surfaces with live HD video or capture of 13 megapixel photos. The MZ-5 FS builds on the successful MZ-5 HD
matched to display and capture hardware.
Gun Tube Application:
MZ-5 FS supports the visual examination of 105, 120, and 155 mm up to 8” gun tube bores on the MPI bench
during the MT process and is suitable for field use. Tubes are rotated in place on the MPI bench. Tube lengths
up to 40’ may be inspected. The head contains two cameras that can be switched between wide field HD down
tube view and HD right angle view. Both cameras can operate in HD video or 13 MP still capture modes.
