Configuring Network Security with the Web Browser Interface
1 Log in to the EasyLAN Wireless web page. For help, see “Logging In to
the EasyLAN Wireless Web Browser Interface” on page 25.

Click Wireless . The Configure Wireless page appears.
3 Scroll down and click Configure Network Security . The Configure
Network Security page appears.
4 Configure the security parameters. For help, see “Network Security
Parameters Defined” on page 42.
Follow these security guidelines:
• To implement no security solution, set Encryption Mode to
Disabled and proceed to Step 5 on page 41.
Note: Intermec recommends that you implement a security solution
to protect your data and network.
• To implement Static WEP encryption, you may set these parameters
and proceed to Step 5 on page 41:
Parameter Setting
Encryption Mode WEP 64 bit encryption,
WEP 128 bit encryption
Key Selection Set as appropriate
WEP Key Set as appropriate
Authentication Type Open System,
Shared Key
