To use the Parameter List Editor
1. Start the Parameter List Editor by selecting Parameter List from the Setup menu.
2. Upload a configuration file from an adapter or from your hard disk by selecting
from File or from Print Server and click the Load button.
3. The configuration file will open in the editor. After you have done your desired
changes, you can select to save the modified configuration file to one or more
adapters or alternatively to your hard disk. Just click Save after you have made your
choice.
Modifying the Network Environments
From the Network Environment window you can modify the network settings for each
supported network environment.
To access the Network Environment window
1. Select the Ethernet adapter from the Network Print Servers folder.
2. Click on the Network button on the toolbar or select Network from the Setup menu.
3. Select the tab corresponding to the environment that you want to modify.
Monitoring Printers
For the purpose of printer monitoring, the AXIS NetPilot allows you to create groups of
printers. The AXIS NetPilot window displays the printers comprising each group. To
examine the status of any printer within a group, click on the appropriate group folder
icon. The status of each printer within a group appears and is marked by a colored icon.
You can create any number of groups and delete unwanted groups. Similarly, you can
include or delete individual printers from any group.
