Timeline bar
The timeline bar displays the 24-hour period of the
day being played back. It moves left (oldest) to right
(newest). The bar is color-coded to display the type of
recording.
Click a location on the timeline to move the cursor to
where you want playback to start. The timeline can
also be scrolled to earlier or later periods for play
back.
Vertical bar shows where you are in the playback
recording. The current time and date are also
displayed.

Audio control
Adjusts the audio level.

Archive functions
Click these buttons for the following archive actions:
Capture a screen image of the playback video.
Archive the selected file onto your desktop.

Recording type
The color code displays the recording type. Recording
types are schedule recording, alarm recording and
manual recording.
The recording type name is also displayed in the
current status window
Playing back recorded files
Once you have found the video files using the Play Back screen, double-click a
video file in the File List box to start playback. Only the selected file is played.
Note:
You must have playback rights to playback recorded images. See “User
management” on page 60 for more information.
To play back a recorded file:
1. Search for the desired video files using the Playback screen. Recordings can
be searched by date and time. They are listed in the file list box and are
arranged by start time.
2. Double-click a video file in the file list box to start playback. Only the selected
file is played.
While playing back a video, the timeline bar displays the type and time of the
recording. The timeline can be manually scrolled using the mouse.
When completed, click the Preview button on the menu toolbar to return to live
mode.
