Format the SDHC card
Use the HDD Management screen to display the capacity and free space
available on the SDHC card in the camera as well as to format the card.
Stop all recording before formatting the SDHC card. Once formatting is
completed, reboot the camera. Otherwise, the device will not function properly.
To format the SDCH card:
1. Click the
HDD Management
folder to open its screen.
2. Click
Select All
. Only one HDD option is listed.
3. Click
Format
. A screen appears showing the formatting status.
Firmware upgrade
The camera firmware is stored in the flash memory. Use the upgrade function to
write the firmware file (
digicap.DAV
) into the flash memory.
You need to upgrade firmware when it has become outdated. When you upgrade
the firmware, all existing settings are unchanged. Only the new features are
added with their default settings.
To upgrade the firmware through the Web browser:
1. Download on to your computer the latest firmware from our Web site at:
www.utcfssecurityproductspages.eu/videoupgrades/

2. Click the
Remotely Update
folder to open its screen.
3. Click the
Browse
button to locate the latest
digicap.DAV
file on your
computer.
4. Click
Update
. You will receive a prompt asking you to reboot the camera.
5. Click
Reboot
to reboot the camera.
Note:
The camera on-screen display will not provide any status indication
prior to rebooting.
Restore default settings
Use the
Default
menu to restore factory default settings to the camera. The
option is located in the Remote Configuration folder. All parameters are restored
to factory default settings; camera and network. Use this function cautiously.
