Section 7: Accessories
A card reader schedule is used
to set the reader’s period of
activity. In other words, this
refers to the days and times of
the day when it is able to allow
or deny access to an access
card user.
To set a schedule
1. In the SmrtLOCK dialog
box select Schedule.
2. Double click on an ‘Untitled”
entry from the Schedule list
(or select and click Edit).
This will open the Schedule
dialog box showing an
inactive (red) schedule (Fig.
104).
3. Enter a name for the new
schedule. For example,
“business hours”.

4. To activate every day of the week, click the 24/7 button. The whole grid
will turn green (Fig. 105), which indicates an active schedule. To clear all
active cells, click the 0/0 button. To activate certain days, click on a day,
which will highlight the whole row. To activate certain hours of a day, click
on appropriate cells. Each cell constitutes half of an hour.
5. Click the OK button to save the new schedule.
