Dispose of the battery according to local ordinance.

Remove the new lithium battery from its package, and, being careful to observe the correct
polarity, insert it in the battery socket.
Note:
You will need to run the BIOS Setup to restore the configuration settings to the RTC.
Replacing a Redundant Fan Module
1.
Remove the system cover if needed. For instructions, see
2.
Pull system fan straight up to remove it from the fan holder.
3.
Replace the system fan by guiding it into the slot and firmly pressing down to ensure that it is
properly seated.
