These functions are optionally protected with a PIN (see Chap. 6.2.2). When a PIN is set,
the PIN (4 digits) has to be entered first after the connection has been established, which
is acknowledged with

The following commands (keys) are defined:

The following extended responses are displayed instead of RING for activated DTMF
processing:

Procedure: Activate DTMF tone processing
Note
After activating DTMF tone processing, the INSYS GSM must be re-
set (see Chap. 2.8.2).
To activate DTMF tone processing in the software HSComm, set a check mark in the
check box "Process DTMF tones" in the tab "Basic settings"
in the group "GSM connec-
tion".

Connection attempts
The number of connection attempts if dialing a remote terminal does not work immedi-
ately can be specified. This setting is effective for:
