Operations

Press the lock button①, push the top cover in the direction of ②, and remove the top

cover of the motherboard tray.

Remove the air baffle above the motherboard as shown below.

4.8 Remove the 4056 System Fan

CAUTION:

For proper cooling, do not operate the supercomputer without the access

panel, air baffle, or fan installed. If the server supports hot-plug components, minimize the

amount of time the access panel is open.

Power down the server.

Extend the server from the rack

Remove the access panel as shown by ① and ②.
